For the 2022’s edition, the event’s organizers asked me to create a mini-game on a dedicated Twitch channel allowing viewers to take control of the main character of Pokémon Leaf Green by sending commands via chat.

The goal is simple: reach the end of the game through the collaboration of thousands of people in constant chaos punctuated by periods of democracy.

Objectives

• Collect and aggregate command votes from a channel’s Twitch chat
• Display the latest commands so viewers know the result of each vote
• Switch between Anarchy and Democracy modes based on timer or a given total donation amount
• Use Twitch channel point rewards for raffles
